NOVA Senior Session at Sunset

November 10, 2018

I’m still trying to get used to the cold and all the rain we get in Virginia. When I moved to the DMV area I couldn’t believe that we could go so many days without seeing the sun. The days seemed gray and I missed so much the sunsets. I moved from the West, and for us to get rain on the west side of the States, it is rare…when I say rare, it means that we get rain four times a year. Not kidding about this! As a photographer in Virginia, I would take advantage of sunny moments to go outside with my camera and take pictures. I just love the beautiful warmness and the glow that the sun creates on pictures. So when Brisa said she wanted her senior pictures taken during the sunset my heart got happy, and the only thing we could hope for was for a sunny day to get her senior pictures taken.

Guess what? On the day of her session, we had a beautiful sunny day! Brisa wanted some pictures with a casual look, but also wanted to incorporate on the pictures her dance (informal) uniform. She had a location in mind…a cotton field and a restaurant that she visited often with her family. The restaurant has this beautiful entrance and such a nice garden. So that’s exactly where this senior session took place.

Brisa, you are such an absolute beautiful person inside-out! I’m so grateful you chose me as your senior photographer, and can’t thank you enough. I know you’re going to accomplish those goals you’ve set for college because you’re so disciplined and bright. I wish you the best!
